How should I prep my hair?

Please arrive with your hair clean or a day old, detangled, dry, fully down and styled curly the way you normally would. This allows me to see how you style your hair and how your curls lay in their natural state. All curly cuts are done on dry hair so it is vital to arrive like this to every appointment— not just the first one! I kindly ask that you refrain from clips, buns, ponytails or anything that will alter your curls.

How quickly do you book up?

I normally book out 4-6 weeks in advance. I have a waitlist you can add yourself to so you will get a notification immediately when a spot opens up! I recommend selecting a range of dates or “any date/ any time.’

Can I bring my children?

I love your children but due to safety concerns and limited space we kindly ask you to not bring your children to your appointment. If you are without childcare during the time of your appointment, we ask that you please reschedule with your stylist in a timely manner. This policy is to ensure that you have a relaxing experience at our salon and is made with your child's safety in mind.

Where should I park?

I am located inside of Chroma Culture which is located across the street from Giant. There is a free parking lot behind the building and you may park in any reserved spot, regardless of the numbers.

What do I do when I arrive?

Upon arriving, please wait in your car and text me that you are here. I will text you when to head inside. We do not have a receptionist and the waiting area is small so please wait in your car!

Do I need a credit card to book?

A credit card on file is required to book your appointment but no deposit is necessary. I kindly request that you give 48 hour notice to cancel, reschedule or change your appointment. A fee of 50% will be charged in the event that there is less than 48 hour notice or no show. Arriving more than 15 mins late may result in the loss of appointment.

What if I need an adjustment?

Blackwell Beauty does not offer refunds on any services, however, I want you to love your hair! In the event you’re not satisfied, please reach out within 7 days so we can discuss options for an adjustment.
